About us

Considering we will be looking after your beloved pets, the least we felt we could do is to let you know a little about us!!

Neil and I (Kelly) met in 1997 in a small seaside town in WA called Dongara. I had spent most of my life there moving to a farm with my mum, dad and 2 brothers when I was only 5. Neil had immigrated from Scotland in 1981 with his Mum, Dad and Sister. Neil spent most of his life in Perth growing up around Belmont, venturing to the country around the age of 21 and well, as they say, the rest is history...

We are a huge family, that is that there is so much more love to give - there is myself - Kelly, my husband of 21 years Neil, our four children, Shanea, Jayden, Selena and Blaire - our grandson Lukeas and my mum, Joan!!  Thats a whole lot of people in one house, but it means we can dedicate more individual time and love to your precious pets.

You will see us all from time to time floating around, please be courteous as 2 of our family members have Autism Specturm Disorder and arent neurotypical - they can struggle in social encounters and situations,  HOWEVER - animals have always taken a kind fondness to them both, which means more attention to your pals when they are staying with us.

​

Neil and myself have been involved with Bulldogs and brachycephelic breeds for the last 20 years and coming along with us to Terrier Place are our 6 British Bulldogs and our beautiful British Shorthair cat that we rescued 7 years ago - SPELLS! Spells will be taking residence floating around helping us in getting the cattery back up and running and waiting to meet you all.
