Prior to Booking
Are your pets MICROCHIPPED?????
Under the current legislation relating to pets it is stipulated that ALL DOGS AND ALL CATS MUST be microchipped. Please ensure you supply a copy of the microchip details when booking. ALL cats must have been desexed/speyed to stay at our facility.
Illness and Emergency
Sometimes a pet may find the boarding situation stressful or may become ill and may need to have treatment, in this event we will arrange treatment by our vet. You will be asked to sign an authorisation for CelticPryde Kennels to arrange emergency care for your pet if required, prior to leaving your pet and you will be liable for any veterinary costs incurred.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
If your pet requires any medication, please ensure that it is clearly labelled also making sure you have enough for your pet’s entire stay
We provide beds, bedding, litter trays, bowls, toys, scratching posts and food, heat and ice packs, and lots and lots of love and we will endevour to do everything we can to ensure your cat is as comfortable as possible during their stay with us.
CAN I KEEP IN TOUCH?
We plan to have an active Facebook page, Instragram page and TikTok page - these will be updated by my children (they have a far better understanding of those platforms than I do, and who will both be working along side me in boarding.

Vaccination and Parasite treatment protocol
Canines
Proof of current C5 for our canine friends with this vaccination administered at least 2 weeks prior to stay.
Treatment with Frontline / Revolution / Advantage no more than 10 days prior to stay.
These requirements are for the safety of not only your pet but also our pets.
We don’t apologise for rejecting boarding applications if our conditions are not met as we also breed, raise and show dogs.
Felines
To ensure that your cat does not get sick, we have a strict vaccination policy that unvaccinated cats will not be permitted to board with us. All cats must have proof of current vaccination.
If your cat has never been vaccinated or has not been vaccinated in over 12 months, there is a 5 week process. This consists of an annual vaccination, a booster two weeks later, and then a two week rest before your cat is allowed to board. Your cat must have been vaccinated with a minimum of an F3 within the last 12 months.
THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

All cats must be sterilised.

All cats must be over 6 months old.

Vaccination history to be provided at time of booking.

We do not charge for medication administration.

We are unable to accept Diabetic cats due to medication timing.

Drop off and Pick Up times are between 9:00 am and 10:00am and again at 1:00pm-2:00pm weekdays. Weekends and out of hours by prior appointment only.

Your cat must be in a standard secure cat carrier when entering and exiting CelticPryde Kennels. This is simply to ensure that your cat cannot escape in transit and it is easy for us to evacuate if absolutely necessary. This will be kept in their villa with them during their stay with us. We recommend that you keep your cat inside the morning you are coming in as they often know what is going on and will inevitably decide to go for a wander just when it is time to go.
FEEDING
We feed Taste of the Wild kibble and also offer Raw or canned premium food.
All animals will be fed from an individual bowl, even if sharing a villa.
All pets will be feed twice a day and the food is provided and included in our cat boarding fees.
Please let us know at the time of booking if your pet has any special dietary requirements and we will endevour to provide an appropriate diet or please feel free to bring in their food clearly labeled with name and amount per feeding.
