OUR KENNELS

image22_edited.jpg

Welcome

Welcome to our kennels. Nestled behind the gate on the right side of our property, our brick kennels sit directly below the house so we can observe and care for every guest. We combine home‑style attention with secure, purpose‑built facilities to give your dog a safe, comfortable, and genuinely enjoyable stay.

Facilities

Our kennels are solidly built from brick for insulation, durability, and quiet. Each kennel is cleaned twice daily and fitted with comfortable bedding that is laundered between stays.

Three large yards We offer three separate, lush yards where dogs can run, explore, and socialise in a controlled environment. Yards are rotated so guests experience fresh grass and different playmates while avoiding overcrowding.

Climate comfort Kennels are kept cool with fans and misters. On warm days we provide a small Bunnings pool for supervised splashing and cooling off.

Supervised, home‑style setting Because the kennels are directly below our house, we maintain close supervision throughout the day and night. This lets us respond quickly to any need and keeps dogs feeling like part of the family.

Daily Routine and Enrichment

Personalised outdoor time - All guests receive regular outdoor time tailored to their energy level and temperament. For high‑energy dogs this means multiple play and fetch sessions; for more relaxed dogs it may be quiet time with a human reading nearby.

Play and mental stimulation We prioritise enrichment: fetch, toys, and play keep minds active and reduce stress. We match activities to each dog’s personality so every guest has a positive experience.

Feeding and routines We follow owners’ feeding instructions precisely. Feeding times are kept consistent  routines whenever possible. Special diets and medication administration are handled with care and recorded for each stay.

Each kennel includes a bed and a sheltered area for quiet rest and quiet. We monitor behaviour and adjust routines to ensure dogs get the right balance of exercise and downtime.

Health, Safety, and Staff

Vaccination and health requirements To protect all guests we require up‑to‑date vaccinations and proof of flea and tick prevention. Please bring vaccination records at check‑in.

Experienced, caring staff Our team is experienced with a wide range of temperaments and needs. We prioritise calm handling, positive reinforcement, and clear communication with owners.

Emergency care We maintain a relationship with a local veterinary clinic and have a clear emergency plan. If a medical issue arises we contact the owner immediately and follow their instructions while ensuring prompt veterinary attention.

Cleanliness and biosecurity Kennels and yards are cleaned and disinfected daily. Bedding is laundered between stays and high‑touch areas are sanitised regularly.
